Muslim Keep ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Summary

Muslim Keep does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. All data stays on your device or in your private iCloud account. There are no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking.

Data storage

All user data — including prayer logs, fasting records, dhikr counts, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. No data is sent to external servers.

If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit private database. This data is accessible only to you through your Apple ID. We do not have access to your CloudKit private database and cannot read, modify, or share your data.

iCloud Sync is entirely opt-in. You may use the app fully without enabling it.

Location data

Muslim Keep uses your device's location to:

• Calculate prayer times for your current position
• Determine the Qibla (direction of the Kaaba) from your location

Location data is processed entirely on your device. Your coordinates are never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service. Prayer times are calculated locally using mathematical algorithms. Qibla direction is calculated locally using your coordinates and the known coordinates of the Kaaba.

You may also enter a location manually, in which case no location services are used.

Notifications

Muslim Keep uses local notifications to remind you of prayer times and other events. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely by your device's operating system. There is no push notification server. We do not receive notification tokens, delivery receipts, or any data related to your notifications.

Subscriptions and payments

Premium features are available through in-app subscriptions managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. We do not have access to your credit card number, billing address, or other financial details. Subscription status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework on your device.

Third-party services

Muslim Keep does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection SDKs. The app does not contain any third-party trackers.

What we do not collect

We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers or fingerprints
• Advertising identifiers
• Browsing or search history
• Contact lists or calendar data
• Health or fitness data
• Financial or payment data

Children's privacy

Muslim Keep does not collect personal data from any user, including children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for users of all ages.

Data retention and deletion

All data is stored on your device and in your private iCloud account. You can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual records within the app
• Resetting app data in the app's settings
• Deleting the app from your device
• Removing app data from iCloud via Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage

We do not retain any data on external servers, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
